For Youth

Living Water Youth Group

Living Water Community Church Youth is comprised of both Middle School and High School Ministries. Its programs celebrate diversity, friendship, service and fun, growing “Generation Z” into young men and women of robust faith, character and conviction.

We are cultivating a re-imagined youth community that students attend by choice, rather than out of familial or religious obligation.

We desire that from an early age, kids would begin to see church as “home,” a place where they deeply belong and are ferociously loved.

LWCC Youth wants to create a space where every kid can feel safe and secure in who God uniquely made them.

Our heart is to walk alongside our students in authentic relationship, helping them to grow spiritually in the context of community as they navigate their own journey of faith.

For Everyone, LETS HAVE SOME FUN!
Flat Tex Project
Tex is a travel loving dinosaur who misses his church family very much. He has decided he would love to visit each and every one of you, but he knows he can’t do that right now because he is responsible and is practicing social distancing. Tex would love to follow Jesus’ word and “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” Mark 16:9
Since we really shouldn’t go out into the world right now Tex would like to send a special flat copy of himself to you to share some of your special daily activities with. Maybe you are doing online learning, reading a story, baking some cookies, doing a special art project, playing with your favorite toys or walking in your neighborhood (don’t forget to practice social distancing). Tex would love to join you so simply bring Flat Tex along and snap a picture of him to share with everyone.
You can also mail Flat Tex to friends and family all around the world so he can travel and share with them as well. Let’s see how far Tex can travel.
Don’t forget to take pictures with Flat Tex and share it with us on Instagram or Facebook with the #livingwaterflattexproject.

Prevention
We will be following guidelines provided by the New Jersey Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization. Information and updates provided by these health organizations can be found below.

At this time, the CDC is recommending basic infection control and prevention measures such as, staying home when ill and practicing good respiratory and hand hygiene. Cleaning and disinfecting is also an important part of the broad approach to preventing the spread of any infectious disease.

Please note that the best ways to prevent infection continue to be:

Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds but especially
– Before you eat
– After you handle money
– After using the restroom
– When you get home from wherever you’ve been
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Stay home when ill and avoid close contact with others
Cover mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing and throw away tissues
Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
Our Operations Team continues to manage the facility cleaning protocol and has upgraded to hospital-grade cleaning solutions. Our Sanctuary is cleaned weekly. Our classrooms and restrooms are cleaned daily. We monitor the use of every room in order to keep the facility clean.

Staff Accessibility
The CDC has publicly cautioned that this is an ever-evolving situation. Following the lead and recommendation of the State and/or Township, LWCC will post any necessary facility closing updates on our website and social media accounts.

At this time there are no ministry gatherings at the church, but groups continue to meet online and interact on social media. Join in! Services can be attended online through Facebook.

Our offices are still closed for the time being with no staff presence. Our staff are available by phone (732-797-0575) and email.
